RedEye Announces Its Partnership with Lorton

Lorton, Virginia - 2003 - The sound of a prison cell door slamming has been replaced by the banging of a chisel to stone at the site of the old Lorton Prison. RedEye Professional Post announces its involvement with the Lorton Arts Foundation, a non- profit organization transforming this location into a world-class arts center.

RedEye Post helped organize and run the Lorton Arts Foundation “Jailbreak” event this past week, which featured a presentation by local dignitaries, community supporters and a tour of the future Lorton Workhouse site. Throughout the day, “Jailbreak” guests were privy to artisans and musicians painting, sculpting and performing.

Following extensive renovation and historical restoration, the former Lorton Federal Prison will become home to an educational and cultural center for the arts.

RedEye has been involved in the event preparation every step of the way, coordinating volunteers, designing, packaging and distributing all the information packets, as well as providing production services at the event. RedEye also produced a video reflecting the past, present and future of Lorton. RedEye will continue to partner with the Foundation to produce marketing videos, documentaries and other projects for Lorton Arts.

RedEye Professional Post is a video post-production house, located in historic Old Town, Alexandria. RedEye is a full service editing facility that specializes in commercials, film, political advertisements, multi-media and duplication, in a boutique environment.
