Laura is a friendly, award-winning editor that “always works to understand the audience and production to create a product that best suits (producers) needs.” With over 30 years of production experience, Laura works directly with you and prides herself on working in a comfortable environment with all the equipment, expertise and networks of the “marble foyer” post houses. Valeria Villarroel – Producer

Valeria is a graduate of Emerson College with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Writing, Literature, & Publishing. Valeria has been with RedEye since 2010 and is a seasoned editor and continually impresses our clients with her storytelling, creativity, professionalism, and sense of humor. She is a fashionista who is up to date with the latest technology and trends.

 

 

 

 

Ben Cheek – Motion Graphics Artist

Ben has been a familiar face at RedEye since ’05. Using his deft interviewing skills from a pay-phone in the Czech Republic, Ben was able to land his first job as a video editor and graphic artist. With the good news that he had been accepted for the position, he promptly jetted to Moscow, jumped on a train to Beijing, China, flew to Chicago, drove to Arlington, VA, got on his bike & peddled down to Prince Street. The rest is history. Ben now works abroad continuing to grace us with his skills.

 

 

 

 

 

Olivia Yeo – Editor

Olivia has been a video editor & producer for 16 years (& counting). She went to the UK for a BA in English Lit. & Film/Drama much to her family’s delight. This fueled her thirst for the “West” & ignited a fascination with the USA, much to her family’s dismay. After all, her first love was Indiana Jones & not Shakespeare. She arrived in DC to pursue an MFA at American University. She’s currently traveling abroad and working remotely.

 

 

 

 

 

Alice Ducq – SEO/Web

Alice offers RedEye clients distribution, SEO, analytics, social media and web production services that blend digital marketing, content creation and optimization, as well as multi-channel communications to attract and engage diverse business audiences. As principal of StrategicCC & a RedEye affiliate, Alice offers strategic and tactical support for leveraging video in social, email marketing, corporate and brand campaigns for internal and external constituents.

 

 

 

 

David Browne – Field Producer/Writer

David is the lion tamer – the non-stop bringer of ideas and creative energy.  This award winning producer is a wonder to behold in action.  As the principal of David Browne Media, David brings to the RedEye team amazing projects too numerous to mention.

 

 

 

 

 

Maria Kellam – Editor

Maria, an editor with a passion for great storytelling. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a BA in Cinema, Maria attended University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland, and returned with an MA in Film Studies in 2018. She enjoys editing and color grading and always looks forward to learning new skills. Her hobbies include baking, embroidery, and playing the piano. In her spare time, she is working on her first feature-length screenplay and her first novel.

 

 

 

 

Gabi Scholl – Production Assistant/Junior Editor

Gabriella “Gabi” Scholl, is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania earning a BS in Communications Media with a minor in English. Gabi has always had a deep love of all things media especially a passion for writing and creating stories. Her goal is to be able to bring her ideas to life. Her other obsessions include theatre, cosplay, and all things cartoons.

 

 

 

 

Emma Harold – Current RedEye Intern

Emma Harold is currently a junior at the University of New Hampshire. She is working toward a degree in communication with a minor in sport management. While at school, Emma works with the UNH athletic communication department as an intern where she primarily handles social media content. She is also involved in UNH’s Civil Discourse Lab. Emma enjoys caffeine, spending time with friends, watching sports, and reading in her free time.
